Wallonia-Brussels is outright provocation

The unilateral decision made by the French-speaking parties to rename the French Community the 'Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles' without even asking the Flemish parties what they thought about it, or the Flemings in Brussels, is outright provocation. The position of Flemings in Brussels is under extreme pressure. And some Francophones are also requesting extra Flemish territory in the Brussels suburbs. The N-VA is calling on all Flemish parties in the Brussels government to make it very clear that they do not accept this. “The Francophones think they are the masters in Brussels,” notes N-VA Deputy Ben Weyts. “Does this mean that they will also be responsible for Brussels’ financing?
