13 October 2021

13 October 2021 marks 20 years of existence of the N-VA. And to celebrate its 20th anniversary, the party organised a series of events in September. One of those events was an academic session on the historical mission of the N-VA, with as its main conclusion: “Only a strong N-VA will succeed in making the transition to an autonomous Flanders.”

The N-VA has been in existence for 20 years. That is definitely something to be celebrated! The journey that our party has travelled during the past two decades is an impressive one. The N-VA evolved from a one-man group to the largest party in the country, with an impact on every level of government.

Academic session on N-VA’s historic mission

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the party organised a number of events. One of those events was an academic session at Tour & Taxis. During panel discussions and lectures, renowned speakers from here and abroad shared their insights about the impact and the historic mission of the N-VA. Chairman Bart De Wever in particular had a very clear message regarding that historic mission: “Flanders is imprisoned in the Belgian state structure. Only a strong N-VA will succeed in making the transition to an autonomous Flanders.”

Off to Plopsaland with 9,000 N-VA members

A week earlier, on Sunday 12 September, the party treated all its members to a Family Day in Plopsaland De Panne. There, 9,000 party members and their families enjoyed the attractions, shows and a speech by Bart De Wever.
