N-VA calls for political process to support the future of Mali

The federal government's decision to take part in the international “Serval” mission in Mali can count on the N-VA’s support. Belgium is going to send two C-130 transport planes and two helicopters. The N-VA did question the competent ministers about long-term plans, however. A humanitarian operation is a first step, but we already need to start thinking about an exit strategy, the N-VA feels. A political process must be set up to support the future of the Malian population.
