Bart De Wever re-elected as N-VA Chairman

At the N-VA Party Council, the announcement was made that Bart De Wever had been re-elected as Chairman. He received 96.8% of the votes. 

A total of 19,916 valid votes were cast, which is 4,633 more compared to the previous election for the chairmanship. It is an unprecedented record. “The large number of votes shows that our supporters remain very committed,” party secretary Louis Ide says.

Chairman Bart De Wever responds with satisfaction: “I will not deny that I am delighted that our supporters continue to support me after all these years. The massive participation is also gratifying as it shows that our members still feel involved.”
