Bart De Wever introduces Czech President Václav Klaus

This Wednesday, N-VA Chairman Bart De Wever introduced a lecture given by Václav Klaus, the President of the Czech Republic, at the University of Antwerp. ‘I’m neither Eurosceptic nor Europhilic. I consider myself to be a Eurorealist,’ said Bart De Wever. He confirmed that he strongly believes in the European political project. But the N-VA Chairman is also convinced that the political Union is doomed to failure if there is no public assent based on an open debate between ordinary citizens, European, national, regional and local politicians, public figures and intellectuals.
